The house is built of granite stone walls from Table Mountain, making the house very cool in summer time, and keeping it warm in the winter. These ancient stones are clearly visible by the breakfast terrace, where you also see the old watering troughs used for the horses.

The premises of our boutique hotel are terraced in several levels, creating environments and atmospheres offering ambience, peace and solitude. Through the years, our previous and frequent guests have appreciated this very unique sense of luxury and retreat that Bickley House offers as a four-star guesthouse. The beautiful garden, with old trees, different palm species and exotic plants is a secluded oasis. Although centrally located, the guesthouse is never disturbed by the vibrant and lively Cape Town. Focus in this harmonious garden is the sensational and uniquely shaped pool with crystal clear saltwater, simply made for relaxation. Below the garden, on the premises, is the parking area, where your vehicle is kept safe and secure.

Bickley House is situated on the Atlantic Seaboard, in Cape Town. only 5 minutes walk from the beach promenade and 15 minutes from the new Stadium (built for World Cup 2010).

Additional persons in the rooms starting from the age of 3 years is R300 extra per night, including breakfast. Babies up to the age of 2 years will be an added R50 per night.
Only children up to the age of 12 years is allowed to share the parent’s room.
Max 1 extra mattress per room.

Should you like to book the entire house (4 double rooms/ 8 people + 2 extra beds) the rate is R5500 per night incl breakfast, all year round.

Booking conditions:
A 40% deposit , within two days of our confirmation, would be required to secure your reservation. Thereafter, we will be obliged to release the booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required on confirmation.
Charges for extra services and consumables to be settled prior to departure by the guest.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations made 14 days (21 days during Peak Season) to 2 days before arrival, 60% of the full rate is payable. Refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.
Cancellations made later than 2 days prior to arrival, advanced departure or no-show, the full accommodation account is payable.
