Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge is a lodge concession awarded by the North West Parks & Tourism Board (custodians of the land) within the existing Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The entire lodge lies in an exclusive use zone in the south-western portion of the 55,000ha, "Big 5" and malaria free Pilanesberg Game Reserve. It offers exclusive traversing as well as access to all the Park’s public roads. The lodge also lies adjacent to the Wilderness Area offering the opportunity of walking trails in this untouched environment. By acquiring a share in the lodge, shareholders will enjoy exclusivity and privacy in a truly spectacular and intimate 5 star luxury setting for a period of 40 years.

On arriving at the private entrance gate you will park your vehicle in the secure guest parking, and then proceed by game viewing vehicle to the lodge.
The entire lodge will consist of a main lodge, 13 family suites of approximately 132 sq. metres each and 4 executive suites of approximately 86 sq. metres each. All suites are also fitted with a kitchenette, making self-catering optional. These suites will in turn open up to beckoning views of the distant bushveld valley, and will be linked to several salas (relaxation areas). The furniture and finishes will be accomplished with an uncompromising commitment to true quality, luxury and superlative standards.

The magnificent main lodge will provide all the necessary facilities and amenities, including a restaurant, bar, wine cellar, lounge, internet station, swimming pool and deck, and a boma. This will provide a central gathering point and social environment for all guests at the lodge. It is here that all the main amenities will be offered and it will also act as the point from which all the activities depart and return.

• A 20%, non refundable, deposit will be required to confirm a booking with full payment due 30 days prior to arrival.
• Bookings cancelled 45 days prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit.
• Bookings cancelled 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Children will be permitted on game drives and walks at the sole discretion of the ranger.
